It is the arch that performs one of the key functions in moving the teeth. Treatment with a brace system is one of the most popular orthodontic solutions in children's dentistry. The former involves fixing the arch to the system with ligatures — special little elastics and wires. In the latter case the arch simply clicks into slots on the brackets themselves.
Vestibular braces also differ in the material they are made of. One of the first and still very widely used options is metal braces. With them any task of any complexity can be solved and the cost of treatment will be the most attractive. However, they can be quite noticeable on the teeth.
For those to whom aesthetics matter (for example, older children and teenagers), ceramic and sapphire systems can be considered. They are almost unnoticeable against light tooth enamel.

Another undoubted plus is the ability to choose various materials for the braces themselves. Outer braces are also easier to care for than lingual ones.

Before fitting, professional oral hygiene is also carried out. After this the braces can be fitted using a special compound. They are transferred one by one by hand or as a whole set with a tray.
